I just got another bin of Tanner's old clothes down for Kade to use and I love the memories that come back when I see certain shirts, pants or shoes. When I put this outfit on Kade this morning, I knew I would have to go back through the pictures to find this specific one of Tanner when he was wearing the same thing. It was my Mom's birthday, and we were ready to go out to dinner with her and the rest of the family to celebrate. Amazingly enough Tanner and I were ready early so we went into the front room of our house in Utah (my favorite room in the house) and watched out the window for my parents to arrive. Tan was being so dang cute I just had to snap a few shots. Although I love the 6 year old Tanner so so much, it definitely makes me miss my alone days with my 18 month old buddy.

so true....just seeing a hand-me-down on another kid brings back so many memories. it's amazing though how differently each kid wears the same thing...I feel like kate brings her own personality to the outfits that kyle wore when she was little...and now I'm seeing the same thing with alex. kinda fun!
I'm amazed at how much the boys look alike! There's no doubt these two are brothers.
I love it!! Tanner and Kade are so different- blonde and brown, but there are a few things that are similar!
They do look different but obviously from the same family. People are always suprised Brock and Aus are brothers.
They are so cute! You can totally tell they are brothers! I do the same thing with Garrett and Brady, I love the hand me downs!
so sweet. I do the SAME thing when I pull out the bins....the memories!As you know, I have four boys in a row so I have pictures of all four of them wearing certain outfits.
Things like this make me sad! I don't want my kids to grow up!! I wish you lived closer, our little guys would be such good friends. I just realized that they will be in the same grade. Lincoln will be a year old in less than a week; it shocks me!
I can't believe Kade is 18 months old. I also miss you living in your Utah house! They are so cute!
